Re: What Projects are you crunching here at WCG

Well, UGM is back so I will try to take it and OET to sapphire. For OET I'm 129 days away and for UGM, I still have a year to go. After the first one that makes it to the blue reward, I'll be slowly starting up FAAH2. Always so much dealing and scheming with the WCG biggrin .

Re: What Projects are you crunching here at WCG

For me, it's quite simple - now that I've gotten myself a new machine (a 4 core laptop to go with the 5 1/2 year one I'm still eaking out some WU's - it seriously needs to have some time & money spent on it down at the computer repair shop), I'm now trying for Sapphire in all available projects.

So, along with progressing CEP2 to Sapphire, I'm working on OET & UGM to firstly Emerald, then onwards to Sapphire - probably one at a time. Then, of course there's the newest project to get to my first goal of Gold, then onwards to Emerald/Sapphire.

If I ever get all available projects to Sapphire without a new project coming along, then I'll have to decide on which to concentrate on to push towards what would be my very first Diamond badge.

Re: What Projects are you crunching here at WCG

so it's now:
FAHB - with a goal in D badge
UGM - a 10y D badge goal
OET - a 10y D badge goal
MCM - a 20y D badge goal

so 4 projects are running on my computers right now...& 10% of my paycheck goes to electric bill in Croatia!

Finally made it to sapphire for OET biggrin... now I will be switching over to UGM (also in search of the blue badge). FAAH2 is also staring me in the face, so what to do? I think I will try mix in some FAAH2 WUs with the UGM.

Re: What Projects are you crunching here at WCG

Hi CJSL
Congrats for your saphire applause
I am trying to get one FAH2 task by day, to make some progress on this project, and running UGM and OET in parallel. FAH2 are very long tasks, so i prefer avoiding having too many at the same time.
Some micromanagement needed. I can forget during a few days, so i a am not progressing very fast on that project.

Anne-Sophie, thanks for the congrats and the suggestion. I was thinking on trying the same thing that I did with CEP2: crunch UGM during the week and FAH2 on weekends. And yes, like you noted, you need to micromanage it sad... it's all part of the fun biggrin. Wish you luck with your goals for OET & UGM.

Well, finally made it to sapphire for UGM (YooHoo). So now I'm going to try to take OET to diamond (5 years) and at the same time do some crunching on FAAH2 (I have no plan or target where that will go). Luck to all on your objectives...

Re: What Projects are you crunching here at WCG

I just pretty much just select all projects and just let my machines crunch them. I figure I will eventually get the higher badges as some projects ramp up and some get put on lower priority. Any time spent on any WCG project is time well spent.

Re: What Projects are you crunching here at WCG

Still crunching OET on my very long trek to diamond (haven't made it to three years yet sad ). I haven't done anything with FAAH2 and now there's a new actor in the play, HST (both with very long WU times). Nothing to do but go onward... biggrin

MCM, FAAH2, and HST. Still debating sinking all my resources into one project but probably won't.
