Re: What Projects are you crunching here at WCG

A 3 way selection: DSFL/SN2S (for blue badge slow boat fishing trip) and HCC (core research support). How the inter-science distribution is balanced... don't know, but in CPU time the ratio of work passing through my hosts, it splits:

DSFL - 64.5%
SN2S - 29.3%
HCC - 6.2%

Re: What Projects are you crunching here at WCG

I'm throwing everything I have at CFSW right now. Will switch to a mix of FAAH, HPF2, GFAM, CEP2, SN2S, and DSFL when I finish that.

Re: What Projects are you crunching here at WCG

Currently, (as with many others), just purely on CFSW at the mo. I'm hopeful that I'll be able to reach Ruby before the WU's run out - okay, it's extremely unlikely (unless there's some kind of extention) that I'll reach my ultimate goal of Emerald for all active projects, but Ruby will do.

After that, I'll be ensuring that SN2S reaches Gold, then push it and DSFL/GFAM/CEP2 onwards to Emerald. I'm still tempted to raise HCC up one level though - which would make my third Sapphire (thing is, for someone with only a quad core computer, it's a long, long way to jump - especially if I'm going to be splitting the workload with SN2S/GFAM/DSLF, and then there's always the question of when GPU crunching goes live, how long will the project last...). Decisions, decisions...

Re: What Projects are you crunching here at WCG

Normally I'm crunching all projects, I do not have a special preference. But right now there are so many projects ending soon and I like to have the sapphire badge. So I'm crunching these projects only until I've reached this goal. After this ... I will switch back to normal mode aka running all available projects. I think this could be called a badge hunter. Sort of ....

Re: What Projects are you crunching here at WCG

For the last 20 days or so, I've been crunching exclusively CFSW, trying to make it to the gold badge. Right now I'm at 70 days crunched and there's aprox 14 to 10 days left to the project. It's really going to be tight to make it to the finish line biggrin .

Re: What Projects are you crunching here at WCG

Right now I am trying to get 5 years on HFCC. After that I will run all of the "new" WCG projects up to at least one year (my base goal for WCG projects). I usually crunch several other Boinc medical related projects although they are all paused, except GPUGrid, until HFCC ends.

Re: What Projects are you crunching here at WCG

Solely WCG 24/7 and sub-solely CMD2 till red badge. Than (in ca. 4 days) going to split CPU time of my comps to 6 medical / biology / chemistry sub-projects and will be ready for C4CW if there will be need for my help. Do not expect any Beta WU's for my Mac OS X :-)

Cheers and NI!
