Assuming that members with multiple identity have entered the same email address, you can have a list send of member names registered to that addres using this recovery page https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/login/forgotMemberName.do.

[Think I'll add this bit to an FAQ as it's probably the quicker way to find out and remind a member of where results might go]

Well the tech has to figure this out as when your device is crunching and is contributing to an account with your First/Middle name, it should get recorded. If you post what that F/M name is I can see around the stats sites and maybe derive a link.

This is indeed interesting. I received your email BarkBuster. I am sorry I was not able to respond yesterday. The member name listed in the email is BarkBuster. There is a member name Mary Ann, but figuring that member hasn't returned a result in 2 years, i doubt that is your second identity. I looked up your results that were sent to the user name BarkBuster but did not find any. Next thing I would like for you to try is:

Restart your computer. Then when the computer has started back up, open the WCG/BOINC agent. If you are in simple view, you'll see a show messages. if you are in advanced view, you'll need to click the messages tab at the top. Then when you have the messages pulled up. Click "Copy All Messages" and paste that information here into the forums. It should give us more details as to what is happening.

There is a crunching Mary Ann alias with IBM for WCG: http://boincstats.com/search/all_projects.php...e61b602efcc48b0a540f1f279 but when drilled through it shows mcino. Whatever it really is, the name should show in the client project tab with spaces and hidden characters as should appear in the start up log.

With the link to Mary Ann at Malaria, coupling back at that project, there is no record of there having been contribution to other projects by that client, lest that happens with a registration under a different email account, but you say it shows Mary Ann in the project tab. Missing in the startup log a Computer ID assignment as well, that, with this downloading of all the basic WCG project setup files suggests there was no prior work done.

How about detaching from WCG via the tools menu and reattaching with BarkBuster+Password. If same email account as the one used at Malaria, your work will still roll up on the statistics sites.

Ok, the machine is registered with BarkBuster. I show that work unit now is registered to your machine. With all of the downloads shown on the messages tab. This may have been the first time the agent contacted our servers. Previously you may have been showing you were running malaria@home work units.

The executables that run for World Community Grid show wcgrid_* in their names if you look at the process tab in task manager. Please let this work unit run for HCMD2 and let us know when your computer completes the task. We can check to make sure everything on it was proper.

OK, as far as I can tell, the HCMD2 task is complete. And it has been performing other tasks apparently successfully, but when I log into my account on the website, I don't see that any work/points/runtime has been attributed to my account.

Is this the way it is supposed to be?
