Hello people,
----------------------------------------I would like to ask some help because I had so many errors I even passed the daily quota. I don't know why this suddenly happened. All the WU's had the same error, namely: Result Name: CMD2_ 0290-GRP75A.clustersOccur-3CTZ_ A.clustersOccur_ 2278_ 1-- <core_client_version>6.2.28</core_client_version> <![CDATA[ <message> CreateProcess() failed - Toegang geweigerd. (0x5) </message> ]]> BTW "Toegang geweigerd" means "Access denied" I didn't change any settings on my computer. So I did a full Virus and Spyware Scan. Nothing came up. Yes I did. But I have to wait until I can get new WU's cause I am still "banned" from getting new ones. But I'll let you know if it works. |

My OS is Windows XP
Firewall is Comodo 3.13 and Antivirus is AntiVir. |

My OS is Windows XP Firewall is Comodo 3.13 and Antivirus is AntiVir. People have reported problems with Comodo. I've never used it so not sure how much help I'll be. Check the rules and try allow on the science executables (e.g. wcg_hcmd2_maxdo_6.14_windows_intelx86.exe). [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jan 12, 2010 12:35:18 AM] |

Yes the rules are set to allow everything from BOINC. So I will check if there is anything strange with it if I get new WU's.

Aha!! This one was disabled wcg_hcmd2_maxdo_6.14_windows_intelx86.exe. Exactly the one you said!!
But then I wonder how did this come to be? It worked fine before. But now I'm crunching again. Thank you so much!! |

Aha!! This one was disabled wcg_hcmd2_maxdo_6.14_windows_intelx86.exe. Exactly the one you said!! But then I wonder how did this come to be? It worked fine before. But now I'm crunching again. Thank you so much!! Could be heuristics in the firewall which, for whatever reason, thought it was a bad executable. Could you please add [RESOLVED] to the title of your original post? Thanks! |
