It's quite possible that all of the "se" betas won't credit. I had a couple that did manage to finish and go to PV status, but the wingmen hadn't returned theirs yet. Which also means they were likely server aborted and thus even the PV will never reach quarum.
----------------------------------------Suppose it's possible that there were a couple quick finishers that may have had a wingman finish quickly too that might validate. Will all be a moot issue anyways if they can do a quick fix and send out new WU's. When that happens, the results are purged so as not to have duplicates in the system.

Maybe the time is getting closer to when the launch plan date is set for these se's to get taken out so quick with a known bug [really, I don't no nothing]. The more we're able to break them in or out, the more stable the production experience will be.
----------------------------------------What would be nice if -uplinger could formulate things to try in beta. momentarily it seems kind of chance and with a small set that chance shrinks.[just thinking out loud]

Sorry to be slow on the response to the questions. We did cancel all the se type work units. The reason for this is because they could be never ending. No reason to allow bad tests to continue. I am sorry but we stopped things quickly so we can get ready to send out the update. This does not affect the pe type work units.
Matthias, please check your email that is associated with your account. I have sent you an email. Thanks again to everyone for all the help on the beta. I believe we have a fix to start a new beta, just waiting on confirmation. these will be the same se work units with updated work units and a new work unit name. erle instead of erlc. -Uplinger |

Ok,
Matthias, I got the files finally from support@worldcommunitygrid.org I checked them out and our assumption was correct on what was causing the over 100% issue. For these work units, there are 200,000 times it goes through the loop. on check point it is supposed to start at the last checkpoint position. In the work units that were cancelled it was not. For example if you did 190,000 loops, then checkpointed and restarted, your computer would then complete 390,000 loops over the course of that work unit. That is assuming you only restart once, if your computer restarts the work unit multiple times, the work unit would basically go on forever. The problem was within the work units and have been corrected. I have asked for the new work units to be run on the grid. These will show up as erle not erlc. Thank you again for your patience and help! -Uplinger |

Good news, :)
Credit should have been given to 672 results. These were the work units for the type B.se that were cancelled a few hours ago. Thanks, -Uplinger |
