Re: DDD2 Type B work units going out.

Forgot to mention, these are the 420 work units * 3 copies sent out of both pe and se work units types.

Is that it for Type B WU's, then?
i.e. the beta window is closed (except for re-issues) until Type C WU's are ready?

Thanks!

(this time I did get 3 pe WU's on a single core AMD windows XP box, and 9 se WU's on a quad core AMD fedora 11 machine, by the way... my Intel machines got zip; likewise for win7.)

Yes, these are just the type B work units. Type C's should be coming later in the week or early next week.

skgiven, I'm sorry you did not get a work unit. But even I who knew it was starting did not get one on my linux box.

Re: DDD2 Type B work units going out.

These are Type B's to test the new validator logic, as well as fix the percentage complete issue on restarts.

The issue of percentage complete on restarts maybe still ........

I had rebooted my pc during processing the Type B se for testing the issue .

Re: DDD2 Type B work units going out.

SHINN, does the percentage go back to a "normal" value after about 5 minutes of running after restart? This is basically the first checkpoint after you've restarted the work unit.
