not tomorrow....in the process of fixing the validation issue, we had to make a change to the work units. these are going back to alpha to see if the issue has been corrected.

Thanks Mr Uplinger.
Sure is proving a challenge getting this one going. Now I'll just wander down to the shop for another packet of patience. |

There are no Alpha badges, so I expect the select few are Beta credited for Alpha work.
But still, rather you than me! |

Looked a round quite deeply, dug into the CA room lit, but could not find a page to enroll into the alpha grid program. How does one do so? Even MS has one for their MVP's Sekerob- I'm surprised. I thought, that you're allready in this secret group of testers. I was alpha tester for MS Flight Simulator. Would this entitle me to get in? Maybe we should start an extra begging thread. PS: Oh look at that- from now on I'm advanced cruncher. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Mathilde2006 at Jan 20, 2010 2:42:39 PM] |

Sorry, but alpha testers consist of machines within the IBM network. There is no badge and it is a very small set of people who contribute towards it. It is not open to the public...this is because we also test the graphics here before they are fully visible by the public to help with press releases. Also, failure rate on alpha is quite a bit higher than beta as you might suspect :) I appreciate the enthusiasm for you wanting to help on alpha, but unfortunately it is not possible.
hope this helps explain alpha some. Thanks, -Uplinger |

Thanks, -Uplinger Thank you. No problem- this was just fun (at least from my site ). So more time for rice and betas. |

Rice and Betas? Sounds like some kind of exotic rice dish to eat...
