I have a question, the answer to which is probably very simple and just eluding me. I've searched the wiki, the FAQ, and forums and come up with the ability to go to My Grid->Create Widget to get something almost semi-close to what I'm looking for.

Several members have signatures in which their statistics flip slowly for each project in a one-line text box, changing every few seconds. I'm assuming that these are live statistics and the member isn't updating their signature manually every so often. I'd like something similar, both for my signature here and on other forums, perhaps having the entire thing linked to the WCG home page. I'd also like to be able to set what information is displayed.

Some of the members that I've seen have this include: skgiven, Sekerob, esoteric17, and Jean Pierre. (These are in no particular order, just how I found them when scrolling through the forum posts just now.) Most have WCG as a group - I'd like to be able to split out each WCG project.

Looking at the hypertext source of one of these signatures, it appears that these are simply an animated GIF hosted on a separate box. I do have access to the unix web/mail server I built for my employer that I could use to generate/host said image, but do not know how to go about creating it. (I know how to code and could probably whip up a perl script to do it on my own, but figured I'd ask first and probably save myself some work. )
