[RESOLVED] Anyone else having page load and WCG website navigation issues?

Have not been able to get into My Grid or Global stats at all.

edit: state change. The backup, see FAQ's, have now been set to 4x a week starting at 7:00 UTC for Tuesday, Thursday, Saturday, Sunday.

edit2: the Jan.17 fixpack has ended the interruption of access during backups, thus resolved.

Got no issues at all. Everything works fine here.

Maybe time to switch the DNS servers. The issue is on all comps here in different makes of browsers. Booting router and comp made no change.

Okay, switch from OpenDNS to the one of the ISP and had instant gratification.

That lasted 2 minutes... still unable to get to any page such as global history unless they were already in cache.

Re: Anyone else having page load and WCG website navigation issues?

Well, discovered one thing. If changing the page link from http://www to https://secure most all pages will load, but each time a link is hit, the next one tries switching back to http://www and refuses to load i.e. sits indefinitely there trying to load.

Any suggestions to force a stay on the secure addresses?

Impossible to access Statistics, My Results, profiles etc. since Saturday afternoon.
I am in Switzerland and local time is now 21'00hrs, and still no way to access those pages.
But getting new tasks and sending the finished work units seems to work. But it is difficult to check as I cannot access the result status pages.

See my previous post and wherever the address is http://www... change to https://secure... and advise if that workaround lets you connect.

Re: [UNRESOLVED] Anyone else having page load and WCG website navigation issues?

I have this on one broadband line since the weekend but tried another and works fine.
May be a DNS or routing issue with some ISPs or their suppliers/peers.
