Thread: Work being done, statistics not showing up? |

My computer has said that it has been working on and completing projects since I installed the BOINC client, but when I log in here, it says I haven't done anything. I don't need the glory, I just want to make sure everything's working like it should. Otherwise, the grid isn't getting any contribution from me and my computer is wasting a lot of time crunching data that's getting lost in the ether.
I apologize if this is addressed elsewhere, I couldn't locate another similar thread. |

Is the name the client is registered to and working under the same as the name you just posted this message? See BOINC Manager, Project tab.

Since you have joined only 5 days ago it is also possible that your results are still "pending validation".
----------------------------------------In addition to your stats page have you had a look at your Results Status page? If it is empty then you are probably in the case Sekerob is considering. If all results are "Pending Validation" then you just have to be patient, it's only a matter of days. Cheers and thanks for joining. Jean. |

If it is empty then you are probably in the case Sekerob is considering. If all results are "Pending Validation" then you just have to be patient, it's only a matter of days. It says, "Message The page you requested is currently unavailable because the statistics are being updated. The statistics update will finish in about 32 minutes 42 seconds." ---------------------------------------- Statistics and your personal pages are unavailable once a day around 1:00 UTC during the main statistics update. Now that they are complete I see that your first result has been validated so things are fine, I think. But my previous advice is still valid: when you are wondering about your results look at your Results Status page to see if everything is going alright. Happy crunching! Jean. |
