If Senator Nelson, and a ton of others want something 'special', why is that not considered a 'bribe'? They are giving him, and the others, something no one else gets in order to assure/buy his vote on the bill?! Sure sounds like what I consider to be a bribe! You give me this, I do that, that is a quid pro quo and that is illegal!! ![]() ![]() |

We are losing healthcare -----------http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=aHoYSI84VdL0 I guess this is just the first of many casualties of the new health care bill! It is time to get rid of all the incumbents in Congress and get people in there that actually want to make a difference for the better! Most Congressmen went there with an idealistic idea of making changes for the better, most have become so 'institutionalized' that they now do everything they can to keep from coming back to the life they are creating for the rest of us! I say 'throw the bums out', to quote someone who said that long before now. Hopefully the next Congress will repeal most of this stuff and we can back to life as we liked it! ![]() ![]() |

We are losing healthcare -----------http://www.bloomberg.com/apps/news?pid=20601087&sid=aHoYSI84VdL0 Yeah, the US is losing healthcare by giving more of its citizens better healthcare. Go figure.[Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jan 6, 2010 5:45:38 PM] |

Do YOU really think that allowing the upper and middle classes deny health care to the poor is morally valid?
----------------------------------------I don't need to read the biased ramblings of peope who have health care writing that only 'they' have the RIGHT to health care. Why allow the 'health care' rich to get first class care while the poor have their children die in their arms because they cannot afford even the most basic of care. It is really easy to stand on a soap box and shout out how others should be denied the rights and privledges that you already have. Just because someone says something does not make it true or right, AND you don't even tell us your own opinion. All I see is links and copies of what other people say but never an insight into your own opinion. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jan 6, 2010 5:45:22 PM] |
