How did "The most powerful hurricane ever recorded in the Western hemisphere." get on in the lead up to Paris?

"damages have been minor to those corresponding to a hurricane of this magnitude."

Mmmmm

Even the weather station stopped recording

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

The October result is in and the average temperature from 2438 NOAA Weather Stations around the Globe was 14.040C

The average temperature November 2014 through to the end of October 2015 was 12.816 C, a decrease of 0.024C over the yearly average to the end of September. Taking us back to a yearly average temperature not seen since March 2013 wink

Here's another forum friendly sized graph that updates now every 4 hours due to the sheer number of points it now needs to plot

The graphs above are (at this moment in time) the result of 104,720,457
individual temperature measurements taken around the Globe from (the same set of) NOAA Weather Stations since the beginning of 2011 cool

On average every 1.5 seconds another temperature reading is added to the database .... wink

The lights will go out in the UK soon.

One more month until all of our Governments collude in Paris for COP21 - see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2015_United_Nations_Climate_Change_Conference

Make it a great Month

Dave

don't know how big is your "grid", so maybe you should think about getting UPS...one which can be programmable, so that it can get you 3-5h coverage of computer & charge only at night time!

Hi KLiK

I wouldn't have to if the task of the energy companies was to deliver a reliable and lowest cost electrical supply

Sadly this is now just a distant memory of what was the CEGB

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

The lights will go off due entirely to the"Climate Change" Hype it's legislation, carbon levy's and short term profit taking combined with a rigged market that doesn't encourage investment in infrastructure.

Instead of it being a vital National resource.

We're building HS2 at the cost of billions to get from Birmingham to London in just 1 hours

This train will be going nowhere without the above.
