Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

UAH MSU 2-2011: -0.01 °C. Rank: 17/33
Warmest February in this series was in 1998.
Average last 12 months: 0.32 °C.

This is the one that was 0.00C last month

With -0.01C for Feb 2011 January wasn't an anomally now in every sense of the word wink

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

Earth's magnetic field is still reverberating from a CME strike on March 10th. During the past 24 hours, Northern Lights have descended as far south as Wisconsin, Minnesota, and Michigan in the United States. "At one point the lights filled more than half of the entire sky," says Travis Novitsky, who sends this self-portrait from Grand Portage, MN:---http://spaceweather.com/

Re: Not sure how much longer they will be able to keep crunching in the UK

The Denier Meme continues:
Dishonor among deniers

Those who deny the reality, human cause, or danger of global warming, don'€™t always tell outright lies. One of their common tactics is to say what'€™s technically true, but is also irrelevant, misleading, or more often, both.

PS, it seems Tim Ball, the geography teacher claiming to be the first climate scientist has been sued and his mouthpiece, the CFP (Canadian Free Press website), has posted an unreserved apology to it's readers and Climate Science professor Weaver and subsequently it seems REMOVED ALL ARTICLES by Tim Ball, and there's more... The US GOP is starting to realize that stupid can come in various degrees, at levels it burns, so Joe Read's bill to declare GW was not human caused was thrown out even before it got to a vote. Yes, some stupid does burn. The public can be fooled, but not much longer... over 1 of now 7 billion people on this planet, 3.5 times the number to when my parents were born, are hungering. Going under in it's own success... the Inca's did so too as an example.

--//--

edit: One other professional deniers, Viscount Monckton, not a member of the house of Lords in any form or fashion, seems to have been caught on BBC television in an hour long documentary, solely dedicated to Mr Monckton. He seems to have on camera claimed things to include having found a cure for AIDS, Graves and Cancer. As is usual, he tried via court to stop the airing which obvious failed.

Sek as nanoprobe would say

I'll raise your nonsense with this truly absurd

http://www.eesc.europa.eu/?i=portal.en.staffan-nilsson-speeches.15361

[In the aftermath of the Japanese Earthquake and Tsunami] Has not the time come to demonstrate on solidarity – not least solidarity in combating and adapting to climate change and global warming? Mother Nature has again given us a sign that that is what we need to do.

Just how low can you go to push an agenda?
