Could we see more Phase1 work or is everything now Phase 2?

Phase 2 has yet to be beta tested and launched.
----------------------------------------At the original outset it was meant for DDDT-1 to feed DDDT-2 on a continuous basis, now it is held ready for intermittent cases. Anytime the scientists find that more DDDT-1 data needs augmentation to help the further processing of DDDT-2 they will use this stream.

Starting sept 20 there will be some DDDT1 WU's with status: No-Reply and the make-up WU's will be sent out to known reliable devices.
----------------------------------------It will not be much, I guess. How many of the 200000 WU's will be resent as repair WU because of No-reply?

Time to switch the cache strategy then... reduce the "additional buffer" value and abort anything in excess of requirement just before Sep 20

Will there be an announcement when all wu's of this current run have been returned? My settings are skewed in the vain hope of picking up some of the retreads, and it would be nice to know when to give up and await another run.
I picked up one several days ago but none since the 20th, anyone else noticed some retreads go by recently? |

I can imagine that, because of the difficulties of getting a non-stop supply of DDDT-2 work units, there is no immediate need for any augmentation whatsoever. I'm just wondering if this project is in a deep coma until someone gathers up the courage to pull the plug and let it die, or if it's rather in a very deep sleep in some half-forgotten bedroom. |

It's good you do the Q & A all by yourself, for that is all you're going to learn, except the 'forgotten' part... it's on the periodic report. WCG's planning runs well towards the end of this decade. ;>)
