Recently I started to use another computer.
I installed BOINC on that computer by logging in via my userid and I installed he software on my new computer. After I finished work on my new computer I do see that the points I earned are added to the points gathered during the past. Question: what must be done by me to correct this ? |

First you will need to create a new account and then I think if you detach from WCG project and then attach you will be prompted for username and password, this is where you enter the new information. ----------------------------------------if you want to see the points of your new device broken out, go to My Grid > My Statistics > Devices Statistics.. Note the filter is by default set to only show current active devices. You can thus see all your computers / clients you ever ran with their respective contribution. Would that do the trick for you? If not, ignore this post.

I have an account for a couple of years. During that time I created points. Now I have a new computer and reinstalled Boinc via my Boinc-id. Only the new points are not added to my old points as created on my previous computer.

Now this is an entirely different premise to your first post. Probably it should have read "... I earned are NOT added to the points gathered during the past."
----------------------------------------Were those points earned with the old UD Agent? No, they currently do not add at the client level. For that you have to visit the My Grid where thay combine. And as said, for the detail visit the My Statistics > Device Statistics and expand the filter to all/all to see old and new device points.
