OK as I suspected, you don't need many more days to reach the Blue badge. Thus in preparation I've taken the following actions:

MegaCruncher - Dumped 950 tasks
MegaCruncher2 - Suspended 943 tasks with a view to dumping tomorrow if Badge is reached
3 x Nodes - still crunching through their remaining queue, and will do at least until the morning, when I'll dump them all out if badge is reached.

'No more work' was set yesterday on all machines...

Edit - Dumped all non started wu's from the other MegaCruncher. Both should clear down within the hour.

I think that puts you over the top - assuming at least 35-40 minutes per w/u

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

Ooof. With some of the big crunchers dumping some unstarted jobs, I am estimating 28 to 42 days in que. As of this morning, I still needed 49 days. I am still running my 4 cores, but this is cutting it really close considering that there are some completed jobs that were not in this mornings update. It is not clear from here if I can actually make it this point especially since these latest batch of completed jobs are running closer to 30 minutes, and certainly less than 45 minutes.

There are no machines (other than my own) that are picking up new jobs.

JoJo 3, Megacruncher, Node 5, and Richard-PC have all cleared their caches for my account.

JS34, JS35, JS37, JS44, JS48, m-V2, and spiders still have caches for me but are not picking up new jobs.

I'm thinking that I may now need about 20 more days in cache to cover me if the majority of the jobs are running closer to 30 minutes. Am I being too nervous here? In my post earlier, I didn't realize that some caches were going to be dumped. Thanks again.

Tom

Just for reference, I haven't dumped any WU's on your account...

EDIT: Just added one of my 8 core machines to your account. I've set the cache at 5 days, but it will only get 280 tasks, so should give you the final boost

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

Yee-Haw! There it is: My first diamond 20 biggrin

Many Congrats Eric.
I am happy you reach your goal

A few word about the overall discussion.
I have a new diamond, that I could not reach with my own devices.. As some of us, i put my priority during previous months to MCM, and when the announce was done for fa@h, it was too late for me to reach this goal. And i was proposed so kindly their help by OldChalp and Mamajuana. I hesitate and finally accept. It was too frustrating wink

No regret from my side, it was a good experience and good team work, even if i was doing a very little part of it during a few days.

I do not plan to do it again. But Who Knows????
Next diamond should be MCM and these one i plan to get it by myself. biggrin

EDIT: Thanks again to you OldChap and Mamajuana

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

Thanks all,
Node 15 has been added and picking up some jobs.

Simjoe, I can see that the JSxx machines are picking up jobs again for me.

Mamajuanauk, yes, of course you are right. The caches have run out on their own. Thank you for the boost.

I will post an update after the midnight run.

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

Tom: after midnight = 4:254:21:42:15 so 112 days needed.

After midday = 4:316:13:12:34 so 49 days needed and a rate of 61 days per half day.

Take off 12.7 days in pv based on 40 mins per = 37 days needed

37/61 *12 = 7.28 hours after the midday update

I dumped enough to finish my 3 rigs at or later than that time

Any of these can stay a few hours or add a few hours and your machines have work in cache too.

I reckon that if you don't get your badge at midnight then you will have enough in pv and your own cache to make it..... unless anyone has stopped altogether in between times

Tom, in about half-an-hour, I'll add Node14 to your account.

I've dumped out some WU's from this to free it earlier. I've also allowed Node12 (I think, may be 13) to get extra WU's to compensate for those dumped. If they're not needed I can soon dump them...

369 WU's still on msxfr (some 30 mins, some 38 mins)
