Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

update FightAIDS@Home 1:167:08:33:37 angel
PV 54 pages
IP 393 pages
biggrin dancing
With your current tally and PV/IP pages, I don't think you need any additional cores. Thus, I'm going to move Node5 back to my account when it clears down later tonight.

Would you agree OC?

This corresponds to how many working day all these pages ?
The honest answer is - No idea! as each WU is different on each machine, there's no easy way to calculate what each page would be worth...

However, if we assume each WU is 1 hour average. then (393+54=447) pages
(447*15=6705) WU's 6705 hours
(6705/24=279.375) Days
(279+167=446) Days
(446-365=1 Year + 81 Days) Plus the 1 year you already have is more than enough to get the Blue badge, if my calculations are anywhere close...

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

I went to bed having commented that it could be tight and maximise. I was thinking that we were looking for 5 years shock d oh

My guess is 23 days pv

so, 177 days needed and 192 cores if both 64 core crunchers are active

I think then it is no new tasks rather than maximise....

I must be losing it.... sorry

I have lost track of what is running for Tom but more than 100 cores with 181 less 18 days+ in pv so Tuesday 2nd... by the lunchtime update probably so go to no new tasks based on that for now. I will leave one running just in case.

It looks like Dom has 70 cores working. he gave us a target of 217 days and has done at least 90 days since then so there must be some pv's but we are pending an update from him

127 to find then should also happen on Tuesday 2nd but more likely the end of day update

My PV estimate was based on 40 mins average to be safe

By Tuesday night update everybody should be back to their own accounts

Last update from me tonight...

I have 2 x 64 + 3 x 8 cores on msxfr's account, between them they have 5320 WU's in the cache. They are all set to 'No new Work' let's see how things go...

Node5 (24c) on tmedve's account will run dry in about 20 minutes. This will remain idle for now in case we need it.

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

You can move node5 back to your own account Mamaj. I have 3 active rigs on that account that can cover any shortfall.

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

Hello.

I was at 9 years 124 days when people started to help me.

24 hours later: 9 years and 200 days.

Now after the stats, I'm on 9 years and 258 days. (9:258:14:05:24)

+ 76 days the first day.
+ 58 days the second day.

At the time of this message, I'm 365 - 258 = 107 days from my 10 years badge.

So if we keep a pace of 60 days per calendar day, in less than 48 hours, rather 36 hours, I'm done and everybody will be able to remove cores from me and put the power elsewhere. :)

I keep you informed. Thanks again for the great help guys!!!

Done... It's been fun, chasing badges!

One thing that does stand out, it needs to be coordinated and regular updates from those being assisted, if we're going to do this again...

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

I let mine run dry.
Assuming a 45m average Tom should be save.

(260+35)*15*0,75/24 = 138

138+254 = 394
