Congratulations to all the crunchers who reached their goal.
---------------------------------------- Tomorrow I will reach 18 years. As said Uplinger in this discussion : Please remember that after the last of the new batches get sent, resends will be continually sent for the next 2-3 weeks after. So if it's 3 weeks, maybe I still have a chance to reach 20 years... ![]() |

@olivier3191 @olivier3191 I'd be happy to lend you some cores if you want a boost. Same here. I was granted access to a bunch of public PCs, so I guess I might as well aid other people, and not only myself. ![]() Want to have an image of yourself like this on? Hello !!!
Just got home. So here my stats: 9:351:08:06:38 I just miss 14 days now. But we are almost 5 hours after the update so I guess with 2 more hours at most, 6-7 hours total after the last update, my 10 years badge will be here sure 100%. So people I suggest you remove all your machines on me now or at best in 1 or 2 hours but no more. Even if it's not 10 years, with my 4 cores, I can achieve that myself. I miss 14 days, with ma machine, I can do it in 4 days. But with already 5 hours after the last update all crunching for me. My stats showed 60 days/24h, so 30 days/12 hours so 15 days/6 hours. So really you can remove safely all from me right now and put the power elsewhere. I will come back for the next update. Thank you for all who helped me, in my Device Statistics History listed as Spiders and mgmbx1. OldChap and Pramo if i'm not mistaken? If I forgot someone, please tell me. So myself I continu to crunch until next update of course and it should be ok. I keep you informed ("je vous tiens au jus" as we say in France, colloquial). |

Hi Seoulpowergrid and imakuni. Yes, a little help would be appreciated, thanks. How can we do that ? Which information do you need ? Basically, all we need is your Weak Account Key, so we can add machines under your name. Remember to only select FAH in your Default Profile. Also, please keep reporting your progress daily, so we can keep track of when to detach the machines. ![]() Want to have an image of yourself like this on? How can we do that ? Which information do you need ? You just need to give them your Weak Account Key, so that they can, I don't know how but I suppose by adding this key in their configuration file, all calculation tasks will go to the owner of the key. So they don't need your login and password and change that in their boinc to crunch for you. The key is a great idea, as you just give that and everybody willing to help can calculate for you with that piece of information. So you login to the main webpage, go to your settings, you click "my profile". Here the Weak Account Key appears. Copy paste it here. Just under, don't forget to tick "Show Hosts". OldChap explained it here what it means: https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/forums/wcg/viewpostinthread?post=493311 ------ 1 question to others: - I'm on Windows 8 64bits, how can I help someone with the weak account key? The information has been given somewhere but I don't know where. Maybe a new topic, a kind of tutorial for Windows user, linux, etc..., so that everybody in future can refer to that page rather than always go to an explanation, lost in a big thread. |

@Domdom95: Here's how to add people via WAK + some info on it. http://boinc.berkeley.edu/wiki/Weak_account_key
----------------------------------------While it lacks the mention to the WAK, this link tells you how to reach the normal kay. And right below it, there is the WAK. https://secure.worldcommunitygrid.org/help/viewTopic.do?shortName=bnc#204 ![]() Want to have an image of yourself like this on?
