Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

Wow, this is teamwork at its best. I am tempted of asking for a bit of help myself as this would be my first diamond badge, but as of this morning, I only have 3 years 282 days on FAAH.

Can some kind soul help me a bit also?
Weak account key is 3181_ee669ef9d4773e9e9f23191569bc32c3

I am currently running only FAAH and have 4 cores so am getting almost 4 days per day on CPU time.

Thanks
Tom
your 'Weak Account Key' from your Settings>profile page and ensure your default profile is set to work on FA@H

Can't promise but will see how Anne-Sophie goes...
Tom, how are you getting on?

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

Domdom95: I cannot see how many cores are running for you unless you go to the same page as your weak key and a bit below check the "show hosts" box.

msxfr: I see 76 cores on yours

tmedve: I see 36 cores on yours

Would each of you post current totals again so I can see who to help next

currently thinking that if I put 36 on with Domdom, 64/80 on with Tom and you Mamaj throw everything at msxfr for his Sapphire maybe ?

Any other Ideas?

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

Up 3000+ in the rankings cannot be a bad thing Anne Sophie wink

What you are doing is what so many others are doing....just what they can and what WCG was designed for. I have great admiration for everybody in this category together with those that do a little bit more.

It is the likes of Mamajuana and I that are the crazy fools but in this we do no harm smile

Anne-Sophie, your contribution is just as important, if not more so! thank mine and all the other power crunchers, as we have been labelled. The reason? We all need our 'wingmen' to validate our work. So, feel proud that you spend the time and effort contributing to such a worthy cause!

Every WU Crunched, returned and validated adds to the goal of the project!

I thank you on behalf of all involved in the project, from us out here to them in there!

Well done!

I currently Have:

msxfr - 64 Cores
asdavid - 8 cores - remaining to be sure
tmedve - 24 cores - just added

As suggested OC, I'll move the remaining cores to msxfr going for his Sapphire. As they clear down the cache. The other 64 Core will be a little while may be tomorrow, the remainder should move over tonight...

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

@OC - I have 120 cores available to assist (including those listed above) let me know where they would best be deployed... I don't mind where they go, crunching is crunching...

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

I think it looks like this:

I add 36 to Domdom and with cores already on his account that makes 64. With a target of 217 target is reached Tuesday 2nd

I add 80 to Tom brings his total to 140. With a target of 448 his target is reached Tuesday 2nd

If you put yours with msxfr I will add mine there too on Tuesday for the remaining day or 3 if needed

I keep changing my mind on changeover time from AS but it will be after 10pm as I had issues today that diminished output

Re: FA@H Project Badge Recognition thread

Mamajuanauk ,

I am not 100% sure, but I am fairly certain all you doing is wasting lots of electricity. When you switch to a new user on a machine, WCG treats the machine as new and since it is new it is not trustworthy yet. This is ok for other projects, but for FAAH, where only 1 couple of a WU is usually sent out, you are wasting electricity because WCG will now send out 2 couples of the WUs it sends you until it deems your machine is trustworthy. I believe it takes 20 WUs being verified before a machine is deemed trustworthy, which usually takes about a day. So for that first day and whatever WUs you have in queue, you are not really helping crunch.
