How did the GPU crunching go? Is it working? ![]() Its not working--i have tried different drivers and Boinc--my card is the one with 216 streams I have the same kind of card too. What's your board again? Gigabyte--GA-MA790FX-UD5P--R1.0 |

What's your board again? Gigabyte--GA-MA790FX-UD5P--R1.0 Gerald: I found that I could look at your tasks at GPUGrid. You are failing in several different places with unknown errors. The only thing I see is the factory clock on your GTX260 is higher than the factory clock on mine. You may want to use Precision to under clock yours to 576 memory, 1247 shader and 999 memory. Those are my factory settings and I know they work. It's a long shot but if nothing else we can eliminate clocking as a problem. Otherwise, I am stumped. Have you posted your problem at GPUGrid? ![]() |

I found that when I overclocked my 260, even a little bit, the wu's would actually run slower and would eventually crash. I can overclock my 275 quite a bit, but it doesn't seem to make much of a difference, so for heat's sake, I leave it at the factory settings (except the fan LOL).
