well unfortunately since i have only a few computers i would only get the bronze pending validation. 4 pages of PV for me... You have been awarded. PS: And here is silver too-maybe uplinger want to introduce them for al projects. :D let's award these badges for 14+, 45+ and 90+ pages (or days!) of PVs, updating every 12h |

Wow.
I have 6 hours validated. And not much more in PV. I just can't seem to pick up a lot of these. I also have 3-4 projects selected for each of my profiles ATM, so I guess I will have to wait a while to join Club 15. Still haven't even made it to silver on IADS |

not surprised you cant get any right now.. most of us going for our badges temporarily shut off the other projects and cause of this people who are on all projects tend to get the ones we arnt working

Until you get your HCMD gold badge- I will award you with the 'Pending Validation Badge' in gold. I just got my Silver but I am running behind my projections because I now have 893 PVs. If my Wingman did a better job, I would have had GOLD this morning. Maybe I can get one of those Gold Pending Validation badges, becasue I have done enough work, but probably will not get GOLD for another 24 hours, until my Wingmen catch up. - Mitch I finally got my GOLD, but it was painful :). I now have 80 pages of PV, a total of 1,200 work units waiting for Wingman! I have also noticed on some machines, they did not seem to be autmatically reporting results. This morning I had 400 WUs, Ready to report. I have never seen this before. I had my worst 12 hour total of points in a long time. It was only about 60% if what I would expect. Since I am now doing just HCMD2, I do not know if the low points is a result of a low point to work ratio for this project, or becasue so many results did not get reported and my PV is so high. My total points per day seem lower when I am 100% HCMD2 than it was when I was 100% IADS. This is more a "gut" analysis than a scientific one. - Mitch |

Generally when I move all my machines over to a project that requires redundancy it takes about 10 days for things to start showing up regularly. Since IADS did not require a wingman you did not have to worry about PVs. They will get sorted out and when we get to longer work units in production your pages of results will go down. Thanks, -Uplinger |

I have also noticed on some machines, they did not seem to be autmatically reporting results. This morning I had 400 WUs, Ready to report. I have never seen this before. This is a question that I have had as well. I have a machine that returned 47 results this morning. It has been steadily reporting jobs for the last 4 days. I have not changed any settings in that time. How is it possible that a machine that has a static 1 day buffer and a static Connect every .1 hour can wait and report 25+ hours of work in one upload? Is this related to the incorrect WU time estimate problem? I have a machine that has 1 day buffer and .1 Connect settings and had 16 days of IP work. If I didnt manually update, I could crunch for 16 days and lose all 600+ WU for being too late. I know the work will be uploaded only when requesting a new WU, but the model seems to place enormous significance in an accurate WU time estimate and has no fail-safe system to finish reporting WU when the original estimate is low. In our current situation, despite the significant overhead, maybe the server should force an update on every machine that has uploaded a WU but has not acknowledged the WU in the last 48-96 hours, or something like that. |
