You infer the client stops having a rush to report when past deadline. Is that so?

No, it will immediately be reported then result-files is uploaded, due to #4. My meaning was, only results not finished by the deadline isn't reported by the deadline...

Current 6.6 recommended or some future will automatically abort all overdue work, but I think it requires an active comm between client and server... and that last I read is somewhat behind in the release updates.

Not quite correct, unstarted work will be auto-aborted then passing the deadline, but any started work won't be auto-aborted by client.

There's also the server-side aborts that can happen, then client makes a scheduler-RPC. This requires v5.8.17 or later, and that project has enabled server-aborts.

WCG Task Flops in header are dynamically calculated from previous returned overall results. WCG is very well aware it blows all cache fuses if any project yo yo's up and down, which is why I quickly cut my cache after the 320 4-6 minute jobs when getting flu again, HCMD2 temporarily short... The Quad has been chewing on flu for 6 days now wink

Anyway, with 9 projects active Dr. A needs to have a shove to insert a function into the server and client software that provides a rDCF on a per-sub-project basis.[/offtopic]

It should likely be per-application-version since a new application can be faster/slower on a particular computer. How long before it's added is anyones guess...

Back to the topic, and thus getting the HCMD2 bronze is taking longer my side biggrin

It's a good chance you'll get it before me, since after getting the influenza-bronze have been trying to get gold in Aids, Cancer and Proteome, since didn't expect HCMD2 being launched so close to influenza...

Not quite correct

I've dubbed this a Didactylism wink . A different way to say is "... too add that started jobs will not be interrupted unless [to amplify] it's known the jobs are bad anyhow.

Congrat's Ady! applause This one was a hard slog was it not? It would be much more cruncher friendly as a single quorum project ... and two weeks to run a 2 hour wu seems a bit excessive. The "no reply" wingmen can make it take forever. laughing biggrin
