Greetings all,
As I promised, I was going to provide some feedback from my test. It appears that the file that is causing the 131 error is not needed by the researchers as it provides only debugging information. This means that the larger of the files being returned (exceeding the file size limit) are not required to send back. We are also going to try and change the program so it does not checkpoint this file to decrease file io. -Uplinger |

Greetings uplinger,
thanks for the update. There will be another beta phase in advance of the start of CMD2, right? |

Greetings uplinger, thanks for the update. There will be another beta phase in advance of the start of CMD2, right? Correct. The next beta will probably include more work units as well. So everyone searching for their beta badges will have a chance at getting new Beta. There is not a time table set yet for the next beta though, so please be patient with us. -Uplinger |

Got an inconclusive on my CMD2 Beta.
There are in total 6 wingmen in the quorum: 2 of them are errored-out 1 is aborted 2 inconclusive (one mine) 1 in progress... So it seems that the other inconclusive and I are in a race to get a valid one. ![]() The one in progress will hopefully give the answer ![]() |

Well, the result is that WU in progress has been run successfully and that the WU of my "competitor" is changed to invalid and thus my WU to valid.

Are Beta CMD2 WU's planned for Linux as well? I only have one machine running Windows so my Beta chances are slim with this test. Other than Beta, this is the only project that I have crunch time invested without a badge yet

They should have special beta badges for linux users. 1day of linux betas for a bronze, 5 for silver and 10 for gold. Beta WU's are thin on the ground, but Linux ones are even rarer.
Of course if the techs were to make the next large beta test a linux/mac only affair then that would set things right. ![]() |

I don't agree on that, there are also a lot of Linux Beta WU's but not for this CMD2 project now, probably the project will be released for Windows first and later on for Linux. This was also the case for CEP and there I also got a lot of Linux WU's later on just before the Linux part of CEP was released.
