It sure helps having a powerhouse like acpartsman with the team now.
----------------------------------------@acpartsman If you haven't checked yet, you could check your motherboard BIOs and turn off any CPU throttling/power saving while keeping a VERY CLOSE EYE on CPU temps to see if that could be the problem with your upgrade. |

It sure helps having a powerhouse like acpartsman with the team now. @acpartsman If you haven't checked yet, you could check your motherboard BIOs and turn off any CPU throttling/power saving while keeping a VERY CLOSE EYE on CPU temps to see if that could be the problem with your upgrade. I always set everything to run at 100% and active cooling. That of course means I have a few machines that are so noisy I have to stick them where noise is not an issue. The newer machines don't have a problem with the load due to better cooling and more efficient processors.
