Re: SeriousCrunchers Attempting Re-Entry

I hoped that we could get SeriousCrunchers into position 10 sujo1, and we almost did it with the help of a lot of crunchers who decided to throw their support behind SeriousCrunchers: little mermaid, OldChap, BladeD, stefada, Crystal Pellet, thepeacemaker7, and I am sure that there were others whom I don't know of. My computer told me that SeriousCrunchers would finish at 13, but there was such a rally of support on the last day that your team achieved 11th place instead.

I am preparing Escher 1 to fly out to our base-camp at SNURK and Friends where I will see if we can help push that team into the top 3. I is doable. I hope that some SeriousCrunchers are still in completion mode and will join us for the week-long rally and put some hours up on the tally board for SNURK and Friends. hugs

Be sure to grab some avocados before I fly out.

Cheers coffee

Re: SeriousCrunchers Attempting Re-Entry

It was thrillingly close, sujo1, una bella figura, indeed pumpkin
#11! What a late sprint upwards on the last day!
It was touching to see the support coming from old and new members of SeriousCrunchers
- some of us flying [how come I always think it's Escher II?] in from the Netherlands
trusting the calculations of the Joint Chief of staff that SNURK and Friends
would clear the #10 with some margin to spare
worried
- some of the support coming from new and unexpected corners
applause
In a week Round 3 of the THOR Challenge will begin.
You will hardly be surprised to find me asking for the support of those Base Campers
who have SeriousCrunchers as their home team come Monday.
It could be fun to lift SNURK up among the Top Three - and for all his tireless work
- not to mention his toiling with new regulations that nearly killed his signatures devilish
SNURK just deserves it
- and Base Camp's SNURK and Friends trek 2.0 will be a success that far supercedes any expectations.
- little mermaid going into sirene mode blushing

We probably would've made 10th if it hadn't been for hurricane Michael. Between the power outages and internet outages I ended up losing somewhere between 15 and 20000 hours of work.

So nice to see you finally heeded your Captain USAFA 82's advice about going Base Camping, thepeacekeeper7
- that's how I prefer to think of it - anyhow biggrin

I know of no other crunching mermaids,
but I assure you that this one cannot do so many numbers at once - or alone.
It takes an OldChap to be my beneficiary peace

sad What a pity, acpartsman.
The good news is that if you want to take part in Round 3 of the THOR Challenge,
your choice is so much simpler than it could otherwise have been tongue

Re: SeriousCrunchers Attempting Re-Entry

Thank you for your hospitality here at SeriousCrunchers and the nice airstrip for my aeroplane. I just finished servicing Escher-1 and I am heading to the base camp at SNURK and Friends. I am needed there for round 3 of the Thor Challenge. I hope to see many of the SeriousCrunchers there too.

I also added my new decals to the fuselage of Escher-1:

Up, up, and away!

Cheers coffee

Re: SeriousCrunchers Attempting Re-Entry

What a lovely post, NixChix smile
Collecting badges with the speed you do,
you'll soon need a limo version of Escher I
in order to have enough room on the fuselage cool
