I looked at what you posted and what they said (or didn't say) while you came across very well on the pitch, The message almost sounded like a recuitment pitch for BC and not " what can we do for you/ lets promote your team/we're here to make friends and have some fun. They did not seem to grasp the bc help aspect of other ways of promoting their agenda I.E. Having more WCG forum face time. They are mostly here for the money aspect.(my opinion only I could be wrong) Try pushing the fun/ enteraction and they may be more receptive to your proposals.

Just a suggestion... As you go wandering and you know you will, Show interest in them. (at least those that respond.) Then slowly mention that your team BaseCamp was wondering if they would enjoy your help with the points, it will keep them at the forefront of the WCG forums (As long as they talk) which will have other people looking at them.(hence the promotion end.) All teams want to grow if possible. This will also self promote Base Camp.( they will see first hand how the team grew and in turn join BC. maybe to help others) Always keep the Base Camp thread on the top of the forum board.( more self promotion.)

Right now we have oak, ash, mold, grass, Honey suckle and night blooming Jasmin. Just to name a few.
