What size uploads is everyone seeing on the type B tasks?
I have finished 3 of the type B tasks and was able to monitor 2 of the completions. Each task's upload was approximately 7.5 MB among 4 files with the _1 file being the largest. |

Thanks. Regards. I'm getting the same issue: 21/03/2009 04:46:07|World Community Grid|Sending scheduler request: To fetch work. System is Intel dual core running Vista x64. Another system I had downloaded a CEP WU yesterday and that is only on about 8 hours a day, but that is an XP 32-bit system. Any help would be appreciated. |

The message is direct and simple. Even if your machine is on 100% of the time, BOINC is only running a part of that time. Thus, you're cut off from buffering new work before current work is finished.
----------------------------------------When I came back from a month away, my quad refused to fill buffer simply because BOINC knows the "average" crunching done on that machine in recent history. Let it run and eventually the control parms will adjust, or follow what Saul did... reset project.

Hopefully it will come back in line soon. |

It's the result of the next line "transient upload error", and the next, telling you it's going to try again in a minute, when the lock expires. If it then fails BOINC will try again and again until it succeeds.
----------------------------------------The net is, if an upload fails somehow to upload, the server puts on a temporary safety for it's own protection.

Has the recent little spurt of CEP Type B production WUs dried up? [Resolved: No new work being sent.]
----------------------------------------I got 6 of these about 2 days ago, but none since. [Edit 1 times, last edit by Rickjb at Mar 24, 2009 12:15:21 AM] |

My HFCC/CEP mix duo picked up the last one at 13:18pm today, 6 are in queue received in the last 36 hours. Just about right for me. They seem to find quorum relatively quickly. Just 3 of 14 completed in last 48 hours are in PV.
