Looking at tonights stat's, I just passed 4+ years of CPU crunching @ WCG with 6 months of GPU cruching @ GPUGrid (not yet reflected at BOINCStats). I have mixed feelings over that. Come on WCG ... get back to being the leading edge.

These days it seems that this is what has to pass for good news since the bad news seems to be really bad. I've never been a fan of lots of government regulation but lately, it seems clear that we can trust Wall Street and the corporate boardrooms about as much as our politicans in Washington. Still, having Washington regulate big business looks an awful lot like having the fox guard the henhouse. Maybe more appropriately it's like having the prisoners at Supermax guard themselves. Far too many companies see their employees as commodities, an expense to be managed and cut. A company that sees employees as human beings is an anachronism now. The past couple of years has really soured me on corporate management.
