My octo mac is only getting around 3 days work even though I have 5 days set to get wu's. Who's hogging all the wu's?
---------------------------------------- Or are the wu's for mac os limited? ![]()

Gremlins and Leprechauns, but more probably things as the rDCF or the On_Frac / Active_frac values in the client_state.xml, with which you should not meddle unless you know what the G&Ls have done Or are the wu's for mac os limited? Not that we've heard. A message log entry should tell you if there is nothing in the feeders ![]()

After struggling for wu's, I got a message stating "no work available for projects I have selected". I would get a big batch at first, then would give me 1 or 2 a couple of times before giving me this message. I usually upload more wu's when I have only a few left to crunch but will wait untill all are done before requesting more work and see what happens.

Particular in a intermittent supply situations, staying on line and setting the connect to for instance 24 hours, full cause your client to upload "ready to report" in groups, but no later than 24 hours after completion and keep your backfill attempts at a steady pace. Hoovering when you're running on empty, can lead to bottlenecking, also because a work request is 15 max at the time at which time the client backs off an whirs to see it it needs more to replenish supply in the queue.
