We are now out of the first 25th places so please vote. The voting system has a flaw accepting any email address without asking for verification so you can put any bogus address like zizi@hotmail.com and then put a name and a password so you can vote. From yesterday till today the other ideas that got in front of just doubled they're votes trough this method. If we want WCG to be a player in this competition please vote with 10 bogus addresses. If at least 10 of us votes like that we can get back in the game. Cheating? Yes. The whole voting system is based on mussle voting! we have little time as today the voting is closing pretty soon.

Also let's not forget your vote is not really cheatting. You are representing the mass of WCG members that are not present in this Forum.

It was a good effort. But... this shows that our Forum numbers are frightfully low.

I've received the following e-mail from the organisers of this competition...
----------------------------------------Round One Voting Now Closed Voting has now ended in Round 1 of the 2009 Dell Social Innovation Competition. All entries will be verified for eligibility and the top 25 projects voted by the public will move to Round 2. Along with the top 25 voted entries, the competition judges will select up to 75 more projects to move to Round 2. These 100 semifinalists will be announced on March 10 on the website and by email to everyone registered in the community. Voting Resumes March 10 Voting re-opens on March 10 for the semifinal round (Round 2) of the competition. Vote on your favourite projects as the semifinalists prepare their venture plans for the judges and YouTube videos for you to see. Videos will be added to each entry after April 6. Help choose the three finalists who will compete live on May 7 in Austin, Texas. Please direct any comments or questions to innovation@rgkcenter.org. Obviously, if we do get selected for 'Round 2', then what are the chances of the WCG admin 'rallying the troups' to vote by an e-mail explaining what it's all about? ![]() |
