Cool, but sunny all day here so my walk to the town centre was pleasant enough and the odds and ends of shopping went smoothly and timing for a bus back home almost perfect.

A mild and dry day here so the weekly supermarket run was reasonably painless apart from the creeping up of the bill at the checkout.

Out of habit, my Saturday has a pile of newsprint with the Times and the FT adding to my usual Guardian. It provides a variety of views and and removes any possibility of fighting over the crossword.
