Naturally, it doesn't help that I'm due to go up the road the following day to watch the semi finals of the Twenty20 tournament; that's a great excuse for the rain to arrive. Cricket update. The Dutch beat the UK.. http://uk.reuters.com/article/cricketNews/idUKL555231420090606 http://uk.reuters.com/article/cricketNews/idU...randChannel=0&sp=true Morning all. ![]() [Edit 1 times, last edit by Former Member at Jun 6, 2009 9:05:56 AM] |

Evening all
Dry but cool now but this morning's steady tedding put paid to some bush trimming in the monthly 'Village' gardening morning. I'm not surprised you don't really understand cricket René. As the Americans said 'what sort of game is it when two sides can oppose each other for 5 days only to decide that neither side has won'. Just accept that the English are mad. That should be simple for you, there's enough evidence on this site. |

Probably just as well nobody understand conkers either, if it were an internation sport we'd probably lose at that too. ![]() Have you noticed, nobody has resigned from the government today either. ![]() |
