Ted, thank you for your Christmas card - the mail still works in both of our countries

You certainly got yourselves some freak weather in GB these days
- and Base Camper sunfolk emigrated to the sunshine capital of New Zealand
- named Nelson
and reported 500 mm of rain and counting with lots of landslides
- even in his own street!

Hesitate to say it, but since the rain cleared up this morning, we have had sun again this afternoon (with a nip in the air of course!). When I hear the reports of the weather some of you have up 'norf', I am becoming much more aware of the difference with that, and what we have 'darn souf'. Amazin for a small island, don't "ya fink"!
