I won't say it out loud, but we have a blue sky and sun shining here - been like this since quite early this morning! No wonder that, on this small island of ours, we talk about the weather so much!

Evening all
The day here started off wet and overcast but turned gradually to clear skies and cool. I walked round to fetch the Christmas tree I'd reserved which is now in the back yard ready for me to set up at the end of the week. |

Still and calm, hard frost overnight but nice clear blooo sky at moment .Birds taking turns at the feeder

he-he you'll never get me trained for such short messages  Good Morning! It was 0850 UTC -1 and we are close to the shortest day The sun is not at another angle than at any other day when it is at that angle - well, how would you say it?  but it looks different when the rays kiss the rooftops - it does. @ Ted: Please thank "A" for her Christmas card - and BTW: The Edwardians carry no link in their signature for people to click and join. I needed to check our/your - I can only be one place at a time - member list because I think I noticed an old member lurking ... and thought I could click a link with any of you - fat chance  I checked now .... and I was right - a retired one who may want back |
