So your son was your companion
----------------------------------------Yes, you are second to none putting up those shows and you have more costumes than any other - simply because you ruled the world once and needed to adapt your clothing - shorts, tropical hats, tiger skins .... Once - many more years ago than I like to think of - I were at a travelling edition of the "Edinburgh Tattoo" at the grounds of the Royal Danish Life Guard's barracks near Rosenborg Castle in Copenhagen. There were participants from many nations - the Americans were especially good at doing unison tricks with their rifles with loosened locks so that we also had the sound side to it. ![]() This picture is from "The Danish Military Tattoo" 2008 at that place when the Royal Danish Life Guard celebrated their 350 anniversary. Mornin.....we have SNOW! Once again we have blue sky and sun, although there is a definite 'nip' in the air this morning. Not a breath of wind though. The squirrels seem to have finished their early morning "rushing around" and the birds have obviously found some warm niches somewhere in the trees. So no more gazing out of the windows for me - no more excuses to ignore the layers of dust; maybe I will tackle the pile of ironing - anything is better than dusting and hoovering! ![]() |

Evening all
Pretty chilly here when I went into town this morning and I was glad of my woolly hat. Apart from a replacement cooker hood filter I didn't find anything else that I wanted so another outing somewhere looms as December speeds by. |
