Evening all.
I just need to look at my council tax bill to feel poor ![]() Just paid mine. Morning all. ![]() It always surprises me that, in the UK at least, they divide it by 10 instead of having 12 monthly instalments. I suppose there are at least 2 months when it doesn't have to be paid. ![]() |

You lot often meet at the bandstand in Regents Park.....is there seating available round there or is it the grass? I know there is a cafe nearby also in case of the usual summer weather.....TIA

I couldn't swear to it Alan, but from what I remember and also photos where we are all sitting on the ground, I believe it is grass!!

Evening all
Well Scribe, there are deck chairs and Guitar Man was treated to one last year. I just bring a camping stool that I use when queueing up at Lord's. It didn't start Tedding here until mid afternoon so we did manage to get some bedding dry and I sorted out the hanging baskets whilst it was still dry. Just ordered a new hand mower as my old Qualcast is getting a bit beyond it and you can no longer find the little shop that will sharpen it all up for you. They're not easy to find and I followed up a recommendation from Which and when I started trying on-line I found the demand had been so great that many dealers said they would not have stock before the middle of May. However, it seems mine should now be on its way. |

I've got a little electric mover - black and decker I think that has been going strong for 18 years. (The manufacturers must love me!) Getting a replacement blade is a problem here too, but I suspect it is that which will make me buy a new one. ![]() |
