Will be watching some Real sports Men & Women tomorrow
----------------------------------------The London Marathon around 30 odd thousand runners testing themselves to the limit .the Elite runners doing a cracking job. The entertainment value lays with the fun runners (tho how running 26 miles dressed as a rhino counts as Fun?????) I'm not sporting enough to do that sort of thing jogging and gyms are some form of torture . I have done the distance 26 miles, but I walked it, The Yorkshire three peaks thats Inglebourgh, Whernside and Pen-y-gent three hills of around 2500 feet each with some road and fells to join up the hills done it three times timed at about 7 1/2 hours. Evening all
... and a Happy Anniversary to a number of our team members having completed 2 years of crunching here and Den and Myself who will do so tomorrow. I decided against the marathon and read the paper, did the crossword and then watched the motor racing instead leaving it until the afternoon to do a bit of exercise mowing and such like in the garden. |
