Evening all
Rain was forecast here but it's been dry all day with quite a bit of sunshine this morning. We'll be thinking of the skipper. It's not funny when the thing goes pear shaped. Mind you, external hard drives are so reasonably priced now it make sense not to risk losing everything you have on the internal hard drive/s. I do a weekly full back up and have twice been very grateful for it. |

Evening all
Weather cleared up during the morning so managed to cut the grass this afternoon. Still plenty else to do; wish I could really enjoy gardening. Perhaps the dog is trying to sort the 'puter out. Very intelligent creatures they are! |

Puter popped it's clogs and has gone to that great server in the sky  motherboard and control chip kaput.The puter Dr has taken it away to try and resucitate but does not hold out much hope  £42 smackeroons per hour  'Ouch' reckons he never goes beyond 3 hours however  Ted has to make a decision whever to repair or buy a new one  My advice  bury it and buy a new one.Have a nice evening all......... Morning all
----------------------------------------dull day yesterday but dry sunny so far this morning >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Think the tech chappie should have said "I'll build you a new one" which he will be doing if the guts have fallen out of the old crittur ... just save the contents of the hard drive Well just talked to Our leader And he's waiting as Tony said ^^^ El Kapitan is off this morning to the docs Vampire Job and This evening out for a Meal with George 7 who has ventured north with family on their annual Pilgrimage. |
