Its a nice sunny morning BTW Still pouring with rain here - hasn't stopped since I got up and does not look as though it will either!  Unfortunately, I have got to go out to get some food, so it is dash to the car, dash into the shop, and the same again on the way back! (Then the plan is 'feet up' for the afternoon, with no guilt!!  ) |

Evening all
Just intermittent showers today so I managed my walk to the supermarket in the dry and return by cab when it started raining. It's not very warm though and the heating keeps signalling by switching itself on for short bursts every so often. Watched 'The Ghost' on a rented DVD last evening having read the book last year. It's a very good adaptation and a good satirical shot at the Blair years. |

Evening all It's not very warm though and the heating keeps signalling by switching itself on for short bursts every so often. I wish they would switch the air con off at work, it's freezing.  I have decided to keep on feeding the birds. The feeder is quite high up off the ground, so they should be alright, but it is sad when the cats somehow get one of them. It's the weekend! Yayy!   |

Evening all
A bright and windy day, just right to get the towels washed and put out on the line. Steak with frites for din tonight plus a bottle of Cotes Du Rhone so I may well doze off in front of the television. |

A Book worth reading "Code Breakers" by E.H. Hinsley and Alan Stripp. ISBN 0-19-283304-X. The inside story of Bletchley Park. If you have trouble finding it I have a copy I could lend you. Morning everyone by the way! lol |
