Re: Whatever the Weather

Evening all

Another pleasantly warm day here but I reckon that's the end of this little burst of warmth. The forecast suggest it's back to normal tomorrow.

Friends have a BBQ on Sunday evening but we'll probably sit inside with the French doors open and the man of the house does his stuff on the patio.

Then Monday, I'm off with out pensioners association for a visit to Bletchley Park getting a lift from Friends. I see the tour is scheduled to last (including a sandwich lunch break) five hours so it must be pretty interesting.

Re: Whatever the Weather

Morning all.
Agree abouth the fruit crops, the weight of apples on one branch caused the branch to snap!

Ivan, I wish I was with you at Bletchley Park, a facinating place where they used Bombes (Spelled correctly) to decode German Messages that had been sent by ENIGMA Machines. Never in history was so much known of the enemy's intentions! A few years ago I was talking to a man who worked there during the war.

I also had a person that I transported to and from hospital appointments that worked at Bletchley park he was an Instrument mechanic When he was working on some component He had an armed guard watching over his every move

Its a nice sunny morning BTW
