Evening all

The two hours in the queue waiting for the gates to open were the wettest I can remember but I did take my golf sized umbrella with me so survived with just a little dampness about my person.

And, it stopped raining just before we were allowied in so I got to my favourite seat, dried It off and then went for a bacon butty and coffee.

Then, play started on time and is still going on now in the catch up time but I decided to beat the worst of the work traffic and so have been home for an hour.

My present plan is to go again tomorrow but if the weather changes again I might well make another decision.

I don't anticipate going to the Bank Holiday parade the shots of it in the Evening news bulletins will be enough for me.

What a teriffic Vessel Alan, can see why you need the Zafire
We did have a sea boating lake called Bare pool on the prom in Morcambe refreshed twice daily by the tide
for chaps like you but it fell into disrepair sad

BTW, we have got lovely sun this morning streaming through the windows. Just got back from my walk, and it is lovely and warm out there!
