Morning all
----------------------------------------Yesterday was quite nice and cool, but sunny. Took me to Sedbergh, narrow streets with old stone built houses it has a well thought of Skool and is a kick off point for the Dales , walkers with fancy sticks and big boots abound . ***************** JP The post from Alan as I read it , was about understanding "THE English " the people not the language. I am multi lingual English and Gibberish the latter being I think my first Language ![]() If El Kapitan is off line some of us do give him a bell to keep him in the loop and Old saggy his brother also gives us the word from the horses mouth ************** We expect nothing Less from Casper How is he doing with the Astro Physics course---------------------------------------- [Edit 2 times, last edit by densnaps at Jul 14, 2010 9:53:27 AM] |

THE English " the people not the language. as in the subject of "mad dogs and englishmen" a topic in our English class in high school How is he doing with the Astro Physics course moved it to the second round of exams after the summer on account of the weather being too good to sit inside and study (I blame his father... ) |

Too true Dens...trouble with furriners is that they do not understand the English sense of humour....and that English with a capital 'E' means the people and that english without the capital 'e' means the language.... which only proves the point I made in the first place....and the English never learn another language, they just shout louder!
