The 'saboteur' came from another direction all together! personally, I blame the french warning obscure belgian politics reference...probably only funny to...emmmm...well...ME that being said, I miss Owlie (we share a birthday) and Carl (he taught me the meaning of the word prat, because he killed a fridge with a screwdriver)... That must mean that Casper has got great-grandparents! Lucky boy! Lots of pressies when the birthday arrives] yep! two very proud ones though neither of them are in the habit of being very patient, he's had way too many pressies already Due to cunning planning on my part, best explanation for flat out laziness I've heard in a looooong time and planning to make liberal use of it too big item in the flemish news today : apparently I am a criminal (and a repeat-offender at that) a woman was hospitalised for torn ligaments in the foot, while waiting for the scan, her baby turned out to be hungry and she breastfed him in the waiting area, then the emergency doc said she had to be in a closed room to do that and called the police, 4 (four!! apparently we have no actual criminals that need catching) police agents came around to threaten her and tell her it was against the law big fuss later it turns out a)police agents were WRONG, it's not against the law b)hospital has been trying to get a certificate of "breastfeeding-friendly hospital" good luck now so is this allowed in the UK, breastfeeding in public places? |

As far as I know (and I am no expert on these sort of rules) it is not WRONG. But you know what the 'English' are like - they get embarrassed by this sort of thing (or perhaps I should say some of them do). But you do definitely see mums feeding their babes and doing it very discreetly. I certainly don't think that "closed rooms" come in to it at all. And to my knowledge, there are no rules about it. In my opinion, the babes are the important ones in this, and people with an embarassment level that clicks in quickly, either need to look the other way, or go and sit/stand somewhere else!! |

As we all started in the same manner
----------------------------------------our need for food has been the same basic way since time began I have issues with some of the young pregnant bumps I see around " Proud of my Bump " on a young ladies Tee shirt seen this afternoon smocks used to cover the "bumps" As I'm not a fashion icon nor having a knowledge of these things just my preferences And being a great granddad have some experience of the Bumps and all that goes with it The feeding issue isn't an issue the Mums are mostly discreet why wouldn't they be |

Evening all
Got up early, saw it had rained a little during the night but now looking OK. Left in good time to get in the Member's queue by seven, then the weather turns sour and we stand with umbrellas up for some time. Later with much squeegee use, the outfield is OK and play starts on time. After one small shower we are then rewaroded with increasing sunshine and warmth so that the Pakistanis look much happier when batting again. |
