Re: Re:

Evening all

It did rain in the rolling hills of Hertfordshire this morning but well before I arrived for the pensioners walk so we had it dry and getting increasingly warm. Two hours up and down it about the limit now for my old limbs but a lunch with old colleagues in the garden of a super country pub soon made me forget the aches.

As for the badges, the longer we're here the fewer changes we will see as each of the first stages doubles for the next. Since starting I now have two streams approaching the I year level and, as the next stage is two years I can forget it for another three or four years. Still, they're pretty and it's only part of the game.

Re: Re:

Evening all

What's there to say about the weather. Our gardening boss lady is now appealing for us to take our waste water out to the brick planters that are feeling the strain in the short time coming up to the first RHS inspection.

I do admire the strength of these top cyclists. A few years ago - whilst still a comparative oldie - I had one week in Holland camping and cycling which was great. One in Denmark which was also pretty good and then one in the Mosel which was super speeding along the river banks but I never managed to complete the climb up the banks without pushing the bike on the last stretch.

Now, my five mile country walk with its ups and downs is about all I can manage.
