Morning all

Morning .... Nay its arternoon already
missed the wake up call ( not really been about since 0530 but so much to do so little time )
A little misty first thing but clear now much like yesterday
Tis the season of mist and mellow fruitfulness
Managed to find some conkers not about to go into battle but
just had to pick them up so nice and BROWN smooth lovable fruits
pity they are not edible .... and so unlike our own dear PM
At another point on my wondering I was able to collect some sweet chestnut's very much more prickly shells the battle here is with the squirrels not small boys to claim the fruits .I know Ivan has an ongoing love hate relationship with the chestnut s and the leaves
Today's task is to fit a new radiator in the bedroom .Not a straight swop I'm sure there are bound to be little snags

This afternoon received a letter from Lytham St Annes
Ernie has written to me
Yep I've come up on the Premium Bonds Bought the first one when they came out in 1957 ish
£1.00 still there won Zilch
But now I've hit the big time Must be catching with Tonys big win last week.
Not sure how I will go about taking care of this bonaza
I mean shall I half fill the gas tank on the car???? pay for the papers
a month in advance . One doesn't want to squander it does one

Evening all

The morning drizzle just managed to miss me on my weekly walk to the supermarket but did make me walk a bit quicker than my normal fairly brisk pace, which will please my Doc.

Got several birthdays coming up so am beginning to wonder how to get round the probable disturbances in the postal system. I guess I'll have to look for on line retailers that will be certain to use carriers.
