Evening all
Not to mention Scaus or Labskaus as I've tasted it on both sides, Merseyside and Hamburg where they have a pub with a Captain's Table specialising in the dish. Apparently it was the dish for Sailors on both sides of the regular run. A very warm and sunny day here but all is threatened to change tomorrow. |

Good morning all.
A bit overcast today. I see that Veterans day has been highjacked by a Forces Day. All the news I have seen refers to Armed Forces Day, little reference to veterans! From todays news in the North East, there are still over 5000 ex forces men and women in Yorkshire that are not getting a pension after many years of service to their country. How many ex MPs are in that situation I wonder? |

Forces day or Veterans day it's good that the country is giving the Armed forces some recognition of their committment and loyalty to the Crown Old Veteran Sage |
