Re: I wear a 'sowester to brighten the day

Moaning Peeps,

'I wear a sowester to brighten the day' I remember Mae West wink now she would certainly brighten your day biggrin they named a bright yellow life jacket after her.

No sign of the Cap'n yet, can't even raise 'im on the dog 'n' bone! he's probably lost in the aisles of a Morrisons supermarket somewhere in deep dark Yorkshire, totally overcome by the price of a packet of doggy biscuits for his little muttley. biggrin

Brylcreem, a little dab’l do ya,
Brylcreem, you’ll look so debonair,
Brylcreem, they all will pursue ya,
they’ll love to get their fingers in your hair

Never used Brylcreem myself, always bought a jar of Winfields Haircreem from good ol' 'Woolies', if that run out I'd plaster my hair with Sunlight soap, 'stung the eyes a bit when it rained' crying none of which is any good to me these days, I've outgrown my locks silly

Have a great day all............. good luck

Old Sage wink

Brylcream advert

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o6F4GtyRfto&feature=related

the above is on ebay fancy selling an old MT jar of hair tonic come to that keeping it for 60 years .......

I Remember using this , also a rival to Brylcream same cart grease texture Silva-cream
I've googled it but cant seem to find any reference
Do you not wonder if the Woolies Hair cream is the cause of your hair Loss Tony ? I too am growing through my Hair getting taller it seems as I grow older And although I always ate all my crusts the barnet remains straight as a die (that remains that is

This Gives the correct measured amount prevents overkill and swooning girls
I remember the barber had a commercial sized dispenser he also sprayed some thing on the hair It might well have been Pudding basin remover as that was the only style he did Short back and sides

I don't seem to have lost much hair, just the colour has gone as I have a photo on the wall here to remind me.

Re: I wear a 'sowester to brighten the day

I think I will confine my self to posting in this thread only. I made a comment about how rude & impatient that a thread starter was, no bad language or anything that I would consider worth censoring, and my post was deleted without any warning or apology. This place is getting over-moderated and if it was not for the good causes that we are working for I would seriously consider leaving. sad
