What is the status? Another batch of beta WUs went out about 6am this morning my time (+11). |

I have the gold already but I would like to get this project to a minimum of one year, like I try to do with all of them. Need 264 days to meet my goal on these. I usually leave one quad crunching on those projects unitil I get to the year mark then switch back to cancer. Same here. Got three Beta wu's today though so maybe we'll see more CEP wu's on the way soon. In the mean time working on my HFCC badge :) |

We are starting to distribute some 'B' type workunits.
----------------------------------------'B' type workunits are derived from the results of the 'A' type workunits. As a result, we expect to see a much lower error rate with the 'B' workunits as the problematic 'A' workunits that caused most of the errors will not have 'B' workunits. Did not get any 'B' type beta, but on my XP Duo laptop I'm getting a black graphics screen with this 6.30 production version. The parallel running HFCC job shows graphics as normal.

----------------------------------------Yes I get your screenshot, minus content, black hole Sony Vaio black. Yes with 6.28 I had picture. I reported this for the early production of CEP also and then it went away between I think 6.25 and 6.28. The drivers are up to snuff, opengl, directx, you name it. I'm running latest 6.6.17 alpha testbed in service and wonder if it maybe is the old permissions thing, but that would not be true since HFCC does show graphics. Vista shows graphics fine, so I know they are there. Added: First 3 have a clean log on the subject device, 1 valid, so the graphics / science segregation model of BOINC 6 leaves the important part alone.
