It was not until about half way through the Type A work units that I realised I had to turn off the other projects to get notable points/results for the clean energy project! But at least I reached 100,000 and got a badge. For the Genome Comparison Project I didn't bother and ended up with 4,192 points  It must have been more of a passing glance than a comparison.I needed about 260,000 for gold in some of the other projects. I think Boinc gives the average of the live projects as your score, a bit annoying as I have a few small tallies that appear as live when they are in fact off line and have been for some time. |

Yes skgiven, it certainly can be annoying to have so few points against a project that has very little/no chance of improving your score on... I've got 2 bronze badges that will forever be bronze...
----------------------------------------Thankfully though, with CEP, I do believe that we'll all get another crack at the whip when more type A WU's are produced - then, of course, there'll be all those type B's as well  so, don't give up hope just yet... |
