Hy,
I have recently upgrade from Ubuntu 8.04 32bit to to Ubuntu 8.10 64bit. I did a clean installation without migrating any data. Now I found, the behavior of my Boinc-client (runniung only with world community grid) is odd. It seems like only one processor is supported. From BoincMgr's advanced view select Advanced->Preferences, then in the Processor Usage tab make sure you have Use at most 100 % of processors Use at most 100 % of processor time. Or press the Clear button in the top-right corner and make sure that your Home profile is set in the same way. Cheers. Jean. |
